Wadleigh Hangs on to Get 1st Win.
If high school basketball games were 24 minutes or 3 periods then the Wadleigh Tigers would be 3-0 with a pair of wins over teams that made playoff runs last season. But because high school hoops had 4 quarters and run 32 minutes long they are only 1-2 after getting their first victory of the season tuesday with a 89-81 decision over Manhattan rival Thurgood Marshall Academy.
